Selection for the posts 424 posts of UPSC assistant Commandant (BSF-110, CRPF-138, CISF-56, ITBP-120) of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP will be based on the written examination followed by physical Stander Test PST / physical efficiency Test PET and interview test .
After the selection for the posts of assistant commanded candidates will be appointed on pay scale / pay band 3 rs 15600 -39100, and grade pay will be 5400.
Written Exam dates have been announced for UPSC assistant commandant posts. UPSC assistant Commandant written Exam will be held on 20 October 2013 at various center of all over India from 10 am to 12 Noon.
Question paper pattern for Upsc Assistant Commandant Exam 2013
UPSC Assistant commandant written exam will comprise two Question papers which are as are follows
Paper 1: general ability and Intelligence: total 250 marks
Question of paper 1 of assistant commandant posts will objective type of nature. Question paper Medium of this paper will be Hindi as well as English language.
Paper 2: General Study a, Essay and comprehension; 200 Marks
Question of this paper will be related to Essay writing , essay component in English or Hindi ,
But the Question paper medium of précis writing, comprehension component and other communication language will be English language only.

General mental Ability , general Science, Current even of national and international importance , Indian polity and economy , history of India Indian and world geography .
Paper 2 : general Study, essay and comprehension.
Paper A : 80 marks , Paper B 120 Marks
