Education department of State government of uttar Pradesh shortly going to invites online application form for the recruitment of DIET lecturer posts. Approximately 65% posts are vacant in DIET of Uttar pradesh of various districts. Lok seva Aayog had given there approval for UP Teacher education Lecturer cadre Service Rule 2013. So mostly all critical issues regarding recruitment for lecture posts had been resolved.
DIET is the acronym of District Institute of education and training.. Mostly DIET are currently facing problem due to lack of enough staff and lectures. So it’s a good news that vacant posts will be filled very soon. For Direct recruitment for the posts post of DIET lecture. A separate service rule 2013 has been approved by UPPSC. After approving this Lecturer Cadre service rule will be submitted to cabinet for approval.
As we know mostly all primary and junior level work had been conducted by the help of Diet. Most important work of diet are the providing a training facility to in service and pre service training for Teacher. BTC Training / VBTC / Shiksha Mitra and other training related to Teacher offered by DIET. For training purpose MHRD made a provision to appoint one principal, one vice principal,., 6 senior lecture, 17 lecture , Work Experience Teacher, Accountant, Technical assistant posts. There are total 1386 post of Supporting staff including all 70 DIET of each districts. 47 Diet currently there are no principal are appointed and posts are vacant. So works of principal now days handed over to DIOS, BSA, or senior lectures. 54 posts of Vice principal out of 70 are vacant . 341 posts out of 420 posts of senior lecture are vacant, 773 posts out of 1190 posts of lecturer are vacant.
So mostly DIET using Guest lecture for conducting the training programs. Approximately 400 guest lecture doing training work for teachers in these Diets.
These posts are vacant because there was no service rule made for recruitment so no post yet filled directly.
Basic education department prepared a service rule in 2010 for lecture cadre but that time NCTE change the Eligibility criteria, education qualification and pay grade for the recruitment of teacher posts.
Currently Eligibility Criteria for DIET lecture as are follows
Education Qualification : Post Graduation with 55% mark , B.ed with 55% marks,
Salary : Pay Scale ……….
Grade pay 4800
After the approval of cabinet recruitment process of DIET lecture will be stated. So most probably notification and advertisement will be release at the last week of this month. As we get any more news update of DIET lecture vacancy it will be updates here shortly.
