Mostly candidates who participated in up pcs pre exam 2015 will be so happy after attempting the question paper of combined state upper subordinate service preliminary exam 2015. Question paper of up pcs 2015 was so easy and straight forward. Question was not so complicated just like previous years. This time uttar pradesh public service commission given an opportunity to score good marks to all candidates. 41 questions were related from current affairs from general study paper 1. 5 questions in GS paper 1 were asked from Cricket and 4 questions were asked from Film in GS section. 2 questions were related to recently Kumbha mela.
Candidates are now very relaxed this time in paper 2 because very few no of question was asked fro mathematics section. Just like previous year pattern for paper 1 General Study , 26 question related to history subject, 28 question was related to science and environmental subject , 19 question was asked from geography subjects, 18-18 question form Indian economic and Indian administration system.
Candidates now saying that uppsc asked question paper in very simple manner that’s why serious competitor and one day examination competitor will get the benefit this time.
After the enactment of CSAT in UP PCS , candidates were faces a lot of problems Due to CSAT preparation but manner of question resolved few problem of the competitor. Math’s question was nominal in CSAT question papers. Only 13 questions were asked from math however last year 41 questions was asked from mathematics subjects.

Since the no of vacancies has increased. Moreover the no of sitting candidates in the exam is more than the previous year. Seeing all this criteria what will be the overall cut-off for the general category and the reserved category.
Also I want to know is there is any individual cut-off for each subject.

I think the cut off for GEN/OBC will be 260-270. Paper was easy but chances of error was more. So please check the paper with answer keys then share your views. I got 284 marks by matching answer key provided by UPPSC.

Ms. aiman I don't think you should wait for UPPSC . If you have filled JPSC and/or RPSC forms then better prepare for that . Just one exam does not determine your strength and luck . Good Luck for your future endeavours .
