last year(2011) the cutoff for general category is more than 70%,but this year (2012) due to introduction of aptitude paper and 50% negative marking there is all possibility that the cutoff will not go above 55%.

First of all there is 33% minimum qualifying marks to qualify for general category in both papers 1 and 2. and this time only 80 thousand applications out of which around 60000 gave the exam.last year 1 lakh 60 thousand gave exam. so cut off will be low. also negative marking is there.
