Uttar pradesh government now published the recruitment notification for 20000 constable posts. Recruitment process going to start from 18 July 2013. Selection procedure for constable post will based on the preliminary written examination, physical efficiency test and main written examination. All those candidates who fiend eligible on the basis of the application form will call for Pre written exam 2013. up police constable pre exam question paper will carry total 300 marks. All questions will be objective type of the nature. Constable exam questions will be related from general knowledge / general awareness, latest current affairs, reasoning and numerical aptitude test / arithmetical mathematics.
Questions paper pattern as are follows
Subjects Marks
General knowledge and latest current affairs 150
Reasoning Ability 75
Quantitative Aptitude 75
Total marks: 300
Qualifying marks / Cut off marks passing marks of Pre exam
All candidates are required to score minimum 35% marks in preliminary examination. There are no section cutoff marks for each section of pre exam. Aggregately passing marks is just 35 percent. After qualifying this examination candidates will call for next phase which Physical efficiency test. Total 10 time of the proposed vacancy candidates will call for physical test.
Syllabus of the Up Police exam will be available in information bulletin which will be available with OMR application form. Syllabus will be also uploaded on the official website of uttar pradesh police promotion and recruitment board www.uppbpb.gov.in
Mains Written Exam pattern
This written exam will be also objective type of the nature. Mains exam will also carry 300 marks.
